Terms of Service
Last Updated
The terms you agree to by using this site, and the ones that govern a project once we start working together.
Plain terms for a small studio. This page covers using the site. A signed proposal covers the work itself, and where the two disagree, the proposal wins.
Using this site
The site is provided as is. We work to keep it accurate and online, but we do not promise either. Figures quoted in case studies describe past projects and are not a forecast of what your project will do.
Who owns the work
You own the final deliverables once the final invoice is paid. We keep our working files, internal tooling, and anything we built before the project started. We reserve the right to show finished work in our portfolio unless the proposal says otherwise.
Scope and change
Every project is defined by a written scope with a date attached. Work outside that scope gets its own estimate and its own date before it starts. Nothing reaches an invoice without being agreed first.
Payment
Invoices follow the schedule in the proposal and are payable within 14 days. Work pauses on overdue accounts rather than continuing quietly and billing for it later.
Liability
Our liability for any project is capped at the total fees paid for it. We are not liable for lost profit or other consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the jurisdiction named in your proposal.
